This nice little cup of latte was finished with a very cute bear design on the froth.. I still remember the resistance to dig my spoon through the adorable face print but unfortunately, I still need to drink my latte!!! @_@ So, I've decided to at least give it a space on my blog for a little remembrance. Received a lovely pressie last week.. it has definitely brightened my day and brings warm to my heart. The paper wrapping is nice, finished with a cute lace ribbon. What a nice winter surprise! After weeks of TLC, planting efforts eventually put off and my basil plant finally flowered! This is the first time I've seen real basil flowers and in my own "garden"... in fact, this is the first successful flowering plant I've grown so far... hahaa... and thing is, I didn't know it's basil plant until today when I was trying to google the English name for "九层塔" online... cos I didn't know "Jiu Ceng Ta" (九层塔) and "Basil" are actually the same thing.. no wonder they smell so familiar.. wahahaha.. >.<

Heaven's first sewing machine!

Finally, it has arrived! I've waited with excitement for the past 2 days for my new baby and here it is! Bought this love from the web 2 days ago at half its original price and hasn't regret the slightest bit. Though it's pretty entry level, it is easy to use and able to perform most sewing functions, including those that my mom used to have a few seperate machines for. Reminds me of younger days watching my mom busy sewing off at her machine and occasionally helping her with the threads and needles. And guess what's the first project of the day? It's very own dust-cover... hahaha... ^^

Year 2010

Yes, 2010 is here and we are living the year now. Interesting as it seems, I used to wonder how it would be upon reaching this year and yet nothing is as expected. On the contrary, everything is no longer the same, I should say, Everything is different now and it will never be the same again. Life is like a box of chocolates as they say, and so I would prefer to relook it anew with hope and optimistism... afterall, good things are always worth waiting for right? ^_^
